John Lee Ten Kei Tanto

The expression Ten Kei can be translated with the gift of heaven and stands as a symbol for the beauty of nature.
Inspired by this, fine floral motifs are reflected in the handcrafted, gold and silver finished fittings.

The handmade blade, which has the Shinogi Zukuri style, was forged in the elaborate Kobuse style.
Here, a tough 1095 carbon steel shell surrounds a core of softer, low-carbon steel.
It has a groove (Bo-Hi).
The handle winding (Tsuka-Ito) consists of fine green silk, which is lined with ray skin.
The sheath is painted in high gloss black with finials (Kojiri, Kurigata, Koiguchi) made of buffalo horn.Key features:
