The Knockout Sprint Run, a limited production run of Kershaw's popular Knockout folder featuring carbon fiber handle scales and a Böhler M390 steel blade, is a knockout in more ways than one.

The carbon fiber / M390 Knockout still has its namesake knocked out section in the handle. This knocked-out piece in the carbon fiber frame is replaced with a stainless steel plate to form Kershaw's Sub-Frame Lock. This steel plate moves behind the knife blade to lock it open safely and securely. Yet because only part of the knife handle or frame is steel, the Knockout can maintain a lighter fighting weight and still provide a strong lock. The result is a knife that's big, yet lightweight enough to carry every day.

Then there's the blade itself - a razor-sharp modified drop-point in high-quality Böhler M390 steel. It features a stonewashed finish and offers excellent edge holding capabilities and corrosion resistance.

The Knockout is equipped with the SpeedSafe® assisted opening system for smooth and easy one-handed opening. Pull back on the built-in flipper or push on the thumb stud and the blade moves out of the handle quickly and easily.

The Knockout also comes with a lanyard hole and Kershaw's deep-carry pocket clip so the knife can sit all the way down in your pocket. Even better, the handle is drilled for reversible right or left-handed carry.
